August had some of the hottest fishing of the season! The best thing about it, is that we have yet to have our first cold front come through to really push the Snook into their journey back into the backwaters to their winter haunts.
The August New and full moons mark the time of year when I can really start showing customers that Artificial baits can be as productive, and sometimes more productive than live bait.
The fishing should really get good for Nighttime dock fishing and afternoon fishing now that the afternoon thunderstorms should start to dissipate.
I also took a few days off to add a second power pole to my boat. Along with a few other upgrades to help put my customers on more fish!!
