Heavy northwest winds this week have made the fishing a little more difficult.
Effectively the wind has stopped the tides from moving outbound until around noon everyday. We have been getting a bite here, and there, until the tide finally turns.
The good news is, once the tide finally gets going. The fish have been on an absolute feeding frenzy!
On both trips yesterday we caught over 50 fish!! Mackeral, Trout, Snook, and a few snapper. This weekend’s new moon and impending cold front should only help stack the deck on our favor.
I expect a hot bite to continue through the rest of October!
