Fishing this week in Tampa has been Hot!
We have hit what feels like the heat of summer and fishing inside Tampa Bay has been really good still!
The key to to getting on the hot bite is to time the tides with the morning and late afternoon bite.
If you can get the timing right the Snapper bite has been epic! I actually prefer the Slower incoming tides to put Snapper into the boat.
The Snook bite has also been really good on outer barrier islands and anywhere close to strong currents. Think Rock piles, Jetties, and any structure for the big girls.
Sharks!! The big Bull sharks and Blacktip sharks are inside the bay. The best time to target them has been at sunset and into the night.
Mackeral, we have been having a good push of Mackeral following the Fry bait into Tampa Bay.
We have been finding them by fishing the deep edge of flats where the Fry bait is on.
I have Some dates still available for July.
