It’s almost Christmas and the fishing is as good as if Santa delivered it himself! The trout bite has been phenomenal. Today my group of two from TN caught their limit in the first two hours. That’s not that unusual for this time of year but all the fish were between 18″ and 19.5″ except for their limit of two over-sized fish that were 22″ and 21.5″ (and we threw back several more over-sized trout!).
Redfish are still scattered with this warm winter we’ve been having but fish to 28″ is not unusual. Hopefully the numbers will improve as winter progresses and the fish begin to school up.
We’re still getting a few spanish mackerel and a stray cobia every now and then and the flounder bite has been better than I’ve ever seen.
Make sure you stay tuned to the site as I’ll get my gift certificates back online soon. Christmas is just around the corner. Don’t let a good bite pass you by this Christmas season!
