This week we had another Cold front push through. Hopefully, it will be one of the last fronts of the season.

Cold fronts in March always tough fishing, with large Temperature swings and hefty breezes this past week has been productive but we have definitely had to earn each bite and fish we have gotten. The species we have been targeting when the wind is really honking are Snook, trout, and redfish. We simply do our best to dress appropriately and tuck back on the lee side of the mangroves and have had good success.  On the days when the weather is more cooperative, we have been having over 100 fish days.  If you’re looking for more of a meat trip we have been busting up some Snapper and sheepshead and grunts every trip out as well.  Springtime is here, and I’m booking up quickly.
