Got out a customer that had one thing on his mind. Poon.
That’s right the Silver King of Tampa Bay. Unfortunately for us, Mother Nature was going to make us earn today.
We get out at Daybreak and get a well our bait fish in just two throws of the cast net.
We head miles up river to a spot I know holds Fish year round. and they begin rolling right away.
We fished for a few hours and had one bite. We actually ended up having about a 150 pound fish blow up on some chummers right behind the boat, which was amazing to watch.
We make a slight move and Boom! we hook up and brought this micro Tarpon to the boat!
He will be back next year for the bigger ones!
