What a great tarpon season we’ve had so far! Tarpon are all over area beaches, passes and bridges. The most fun is on the beaches and passes where you can literally watch thousands of tarpon roll, splash, crash and more while you prepare to fight one.

Snook are showing up in better numbers every year since the bad freeze we had 5 years ago and once we get a streak of warm weather, the bite should really fire off. Man, I’ll tell you what… It’s been a tough last few years for us with snook., We had a deep freeze that killed large percentage of the snook we had here in the Tampa Bay area a few years ago. But, things are starting to really look on the upswing. This late winter/early spring has really shown us how our snook are rebounding.
